Our programmes are thoughtfully divided into three distinct age groups to ensure an age-appropriate and progressive learning experience: 1. Preschool Coding Programmes Our Preschool coding programmes introduce young children to the basics of coding through fun and interactive activities with our social robot Kebbi. These programmes are designed to develop foundational skills in a fun and engaging manner. 2. These programmes help students deepen their understanding of coding principles and apply their knowledge to real-world projects. Each of these age-specific programmes is further divided into three proficiency levels: Beginner Coding Level: Ideal for students who are new to coding, this level focuses on fundamental concepts and basic skills. How does Lyza evaluate your child's learning progress? At Lyza Education, we assess your child’s growth in class using a detailed and structured evaluation method, which looks beyond simple grades to provide a well-rounded view of their learning journey. Our evaluation includes four critical dimensions of your child’s development: 1. Application & Understanding – How well your child understands and applies classroom concepts. 2. Critical Thinking – Their ability to analyze and solve problems creatively. 3. Engagement – How actively and enthusiastically they participate in lessons. 4. Skills – Their practical ability to apply what they’ve learned. Each of these dimensions is rated on a scale from 1 to 5, with 5 representing “Excellent” and 1 indicating “Needs Help.” This multifaceted approach allows us to provide a detailed snapshot of your child’s strengths and areas for improvement, helping both you and us to ensure they are continuously progressing. Our evaluation system is more than just a report—it’s a tool that helps you understand where your child excels and where they may benefit from additional support. By focusing on these four dimensions, we give you the insights you need to guide and nurture your child’s educational journey. More details can be found here.

How do holiday camps differ from regular weekly classes? Our holiday camps and regular weekly classes offer different learning experiences tailored to various needs: Regular Weekly Classes: These classes provide a steady, consistent approach to coding education. Students attend classes weekly, allowing them to practise and build their skills gradually over time. This approach is ideal for maintaining a steady learning pace and reinforcing concepts regularly. Holiday Camps: Our holiday camps are more accelerated and intensive. They are designed to give students an opportunity to dive into coding during the school holidays. These camps offer a focused, immersive experience where students can learn new skills and complete exciting projects in a shorter time frame. Both formats are designed to enrich your child’s coding education, with weekly classes supporting ongoing development and holiday camps offering a concentrated learning boost during the breaks.
