Develop coding and problem‑solving skills through hands‑on projects aligned with Singapore’s national Innovation, Design and Engineering competition.
The IDE Code Series Competition Training is an invite-only programme for Lyza Education students to prepare for Singapore’s national Innovation, Design and Engineering coding competition, focusing on real-world problem-solving and teamwork. Guided by mentors and industry-experienced instructors, participants work in small teams to tackle authentic IDE-style challenges, strengthening coding fundamentals, design thinking, and competition readiness while building meaningful tech projects.

Training Focus
Hone Scratch and Python skills based on IDE-modeled challenges
Students practice past-style challenges and teamwork workflows that mirror the actual competition environment.
Mentor-led, small-group coaching
Small-group format with close guidance from industry-experienced instructors and competition-savvy coaches to maximise learning and performance
DSA‑Relevant Coding Fundamentals
Competitions form a strong portfolio piece for DSA, school applications and future STEM opportunities.
Training Structure
This invite-only IDE Code Series training welcomes top-performing Lyza Education students in the Code Builder and Code Hacker tracks to solve real-world computing challenges through hands-on coding projects, mirroring the national competition's problem-solving focus across programming domains.
Co-led by founder Lizhang, Evan (Curriculum and Tech Lead), and skilled mentors, the programme builds competition-ready skills in small groups.
