Why Combining Fun and Learning Matters
At Lyza Education, we believe in igniting curiousity, creativity, and a love for problem-solving through coding. Our mission is to make learning enjoyable, empowering children to see their ideas come to life through the magic of code.
While our programs focus on fostering these skills, we also understand that Children’s Day is a time for joy and celebration. That is why we have prepared a special surprise during the Children's Day period for our students at our centres in Orchard, Bukit Timah, and Tampines, to make the occasion even more memorable for your little ones!

Creative Coding Activities for Children’s Day
This Children’s Day, we sat down with two of our bright young minds, Jeryl and Skyler (our Kash tycoons!), to hear about their experiences and thoughts on this special day. Here is what they had to say:

Hi Jeryl! What have you learnt today?
I learnt about the multiplication table and how I can get Kebbi to teach multiplication.
What do you like about coding?
I like playing with Kebbi. Not only I can code it to perform instructions, it can also dance!
What Are Your Future Goals in Coding? Is there something that you want to create?
I want to make Kebbi teach!
💡 Did you know? |
Since its launch in 2018, the Ministry of Education (MOE), in collaboration with GovTech, has continuously upgraded the Student Learning Space (SLS), introducing AI-enabled tools like Adaptive Learning Systems, Learning Feedback Assistants and Authoring Copilot, to deliver personalised, curriculum-aligned learning and feedback, equipping teachers and students with digital capabilities necessary to thrive in a technology-transformed world. |
Hi Skyler! What have you learnt today?
I learnt about the states of matter by creating a quiz game on Scratch.
What do you like about coding?
I have a lot of creative ideas, and by coding projects I can customise things to be how I want it to be.

What Are Your Future Goals in Coding? Is there something that you want to create?
I want to make a robot that can read minds.
💡 Did you know? |
Your child may one day build a robot that seems to “read minds”, some of them are already learning such skills! Did you know that when you code, you are giving life to machines and controlling how they work? By changing what they see, hear or do, you can customise them to behave the way you imagine. The latest AI tools like GPT‑5 from OpenAI are getting better at coding, thinking, and helping people build creative projects, which means we could soon use these tools to help build robots! |
